We are growing and seek a talented, enthusiastic, and motivated SDE to join our Fleet Management team in North Reading, MA. As an engineer on the Fleet Management team, you are a key member of a diverse, collaborative team of engineers who deliver highly scalable robotic systems. You will support and lead the design and development of services which allocate and assign tasks to a fleet of autonomous vehicles, and track the state of resources associated with such fleets. Our team's software paves the way for integration of autonomous vehicles in the Amazon fulfillment network., * Architect, design, and implement robotic applications and infrastructure. * Influence the team's strategy and contribute to long-term vision and roadmap. * Work with stakeholders across the organization to iterate on design and implementation. * Maintain high standards by participating in reviews, designing for fault tolerance and operational excellence, and creating mechanisms for continuous improvement. * Prototype and test concepts or features, both through simulation and emulators and with live robotic equipment * Work directly with customers and partners to test prototypes and incorporate feedback * Mentor other engineers on the team.
