## About the Role

* Required H.S. Diploma or GED
 * Required 4 years' experience in information systems
 * Bachelor's degree will substitute four (4) years of work experience
 * Master's degree will substitute for two (2) years of work experience.
 * Up to one (1) year of clinical patient care and/or clinical research experience may substitute for the one (1) year of required information systems experience on a month-to-month basis

## Description

* Translates users' needs into detailed requirement specifications
 * Assists users in determining specific requirements to increase system effectiveness
 * Analyze and evaluate existing and /or proposed systems
 * Document the "as is" the "to be" clinical/business processes
 * Assists in vendor analysis and selection
 * Investigate alternative solutions including feasibility studies using results from vendor analysis/evaluations
 * Supports the system installation through the implementation cycle
 * Performs configuration analysis for system design associated with small and less complex projects
 * Analyzes system problems and modifications
 * Coordinates implementation and upgrades of systems
