We'd love to have you!, Xsens is looking for a hands-on Computer Vision Engineer who combines strong theoretical foundations with a proven ability to build and ship working systems., * MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field, with 3+ years of relevant industry or research experience; or a PhD with demonstrated hands-on system-building experience * Solid understanding of multi-view geometry and camera and lens models and physics * Hands-on experience with VO or SLAM systems, and familiarity with open source frameworks * Proficiency in Python / C++ * Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, probability theory, and state estimation. Preferred * A few years of experience in automotive and/or robotics industry * Experience with IMU signal processing and inertial sensor models * Awareness of GPU-accelerated computing and experience in optimizing algorithms for real-time performance * Knowledge of deep learning-based perception methods * Experience with ROS, OpenCV, and standard robotics tooling. ## Description You will research, prototype, and deploy algorithms for Visual-Inertial Odometry (VIO), SLAM, and 6-DoF pose estimation, bringing together our IMU technologies with camera-based perception capabilities. You will be part of the Technology team and report to the Technology Manager. You will be based in Enschede, the Netherlands, with the possibility of hybrid working. We actively leverage Generative AI tools to accelerate development and improve quality.
