This role involves developing and supporting production acceptance tests for complex control and power electronics systems. As a Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. The successful candidate will: * Demonstrate technical ownership of production test on multiple complex programs. * Support test technicians with difficult troubleshoot of complex problems. * Provide training, guidance and mentoring to test technicians. * Support Test Engineering Manager in planning necessary production test resources to support contract commitments including coordinating new purchases and repair and maintenance of existing equipment. * Ensure commitment to our "Total customer satisfaction" quality policy. * Must be self-directed and have the ability to organize workload to develop a plan to maximize efficiency of performing tasks. * Strong written and verbal communication skills are required as the candidate acts as an interface with internal and external customers. * Candidate must have flexible schedule and exceptional work ethic to respond to the challenges of a dynamic environment.
