## About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Server Hardware Repair Technician to provide onsite technical support, hardware troubleshooting, and repair services for Dell systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing laptops, desktops, and computer hardware, along with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

This role is suited for a technically proficient professional who can independently manage onsite service requests, troubleshoot complex hardware issues, and ensure timely resolution of customer concerns., * Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in laptop and desktop hardware break-fix support.

 * Strong experience diagnosing and troubleshooting Dell laptops and desktop computers.
 * Practical knowledge of motherboard, LCD, and other computer hardware replacements.
 * High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification or an Associate Degree is preferred.
 * General knowledge of computer hardware, software, and Microsoft applications.
 * Ability to independently diagnose and resolve basic to moderately complex technical issues.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience in computer assembly, configuration, and hardware upgrades.
 * Previous experience supporting enterprise-level IT environments.
 * Experience with server maintenance and troubleshooting.
 * Demonstrated ability to manage complex field service assignments independently.

## Description

* Perform onsite installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Dell laptops, desktops, and related hardware.
 * Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, including motherboard and LCD replacements.
 * Conduct advanced-level maintenance and low-complexity installation activities.
 * Provide comprehensive field engineering support to assigned customers and client locations.
 * Take ownership of onsite service requests and ensure timely, effective resolution.
 * Troubleshoot hardware and software issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and technical knowledge.
 * Perform scheduled upgrades, preventive maintenance, and equipment replacements.
 * Support server maintenance activities, as required.
 * Document service activities, repairs, and technical findings accurately.
 * Collaborate with technical teams to resolve recurring issues and improve service delivery.
 * Maintain positive customer relationships through professional communication and effective problem-solving.
 * Remain flexible to support overtime, standby schedules, and occasional travel between service locations.
