Desktop Support Requirements: - 1+ year providing IT end user support - Ability to obtain CompTIA A+ certification - Experience troubleshooting extensively in Microsoft Outlook, preforming remote log ins, password resets, active directory, working with a ticketing system - Professional, great customer service, and strong communication skills - Reliable transportation - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Ability to work on-site 5x per week - Desired Qualifications and Training: o Desired qualifications include working knowledge in one or more of the following technologies: * Active Directory Tools * Remote Tools * Microsoft Office 365 Suite * Microsoft Copilot o Desired Certifications include: * CompTIA A+ Certification * CompTIA Security + Certification * ITIL Foundation Course * HDI Customer Service Certification

## Description

Responsibilities: - Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) services for county assets to include computers, tablets, phones, printers, and other IT devices. - Provide full life cycle IT support for Montgomery County Government as a Deskside Support Technician in Derwood, MD. - Support a large environment of 12,000 users and 15,000 devices across the county. - Handle additional IT tasks such as project work, asset replacements, imaging, disposals, data transfers, deployments, Active Directory support, and more. - Use ServiceNow to manage and resolve 5+ tickets per day. - Manage appointment scheduling and provide assistance for walk-in appointments. - Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to business casual dress standards while interacting with users and team members. - Work Hours Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
