## About the Role

 * 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
 * 2-3+ years of production experience with Rust.
 * Strong experience with async Rust, concurrency, and failure handling.
 * Hands-on experience integrating backend systems with Ethereum or other EVM blockchains.
 * Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, migrations, and transactions.
 * Experience building financial, payments, lending, ledger, or other high-precision systems.
 * Strong understanding of idempotency, auditability, testing, and production reliability.
 * Experience working in startups or early-stage environments.
 * Highly autonomous and hands-on, with strong ownership of production systems.
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills.
 * Practical use of AI tools as part of engineering or productivity workflows.
 * Strong AI-aware / AI-first mindset and willingness to use AI to improve development speed and quality.
 * Comfortable working remotely in a fast-moving environment with evolving requirements.

## Description

* Build and maintain backend services in Rust supporting lending and repayment flows.
 * Integrate backend systems with Ethereum and other EVM-compatible blockchains.
 * Work with on-chain events, transaction lifecycles, signing, confirmations, and smart contract integrations.
 * Design reliable ledger-style and financial data systems with strong auditability and transactional correctness.
 * Build and maintain secure APIs, authentication, permissions, and financial workflows.
 * Own services end-to-end, including design, deployment, monitoring, and production operations.
 * Collaborate closely with a small, high-ownership engineering team.
