Using AI * You have used AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, GitHub Copilot or Cursor, in your work or your own projects. You can explain how you have used them to explore solutions, understand unfamiliar code, develop or improve code and tests, troubleshoot issues, or support code reviews. * You understand how AI-assisted development fits into the broader software development lifecycle. You can guide coding assistants with clear requirements and context, including through reusable instructions, skills or agents where relevant. * You critically review, test and debug AI-generated code. You can identify incorrect assumptions, security vulnerabilities and maintainability issues, and you remain accountable for the logic, architecture, quality and security of what you deliver. * Experience with CI/CD practices and integrating AI-assisted development into those workflows is a plus. A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and reference check are part of the application process. ## Description We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help shape, build and modernise the digital pension portals used by our customers. You will combine strong Vue.js expertise with technical leadership, effective use of AI and close collaboration across our Agile teams. Key About Your Role As a Senior Frontend Engineer in Plexus Digital Engagement, you take technical ownership of front-end work from early discovery and solution design through development and production. Working in a multidisciplinary Agile team with Back-end Engineers, Test Engineers, a Designer, a Business Analyst, a Product Owner, and a Development Manager, you help shape and challenge requirements and turn complex business needs into effective technical solutions. Alongside hands-on development, you lead front-end initiatives, influence engineering standards, strengthen code reviews and mentor other front-end engineers. You ensure that solutions balance usability, accessibility, performance, security, maintainability and delivery priorities. You help modernise our front-end landscape through reusable architecture, stronger automated testing and improved engineering practices. You use AI-assisted development tools confidently and responsibly, and help teams adopt AI in ways that improve productivity and quality.
