## About the Role

* Must have Must have a High School diploma/GED and 9 years of relevant Database Administrator/Analyst experience; or an Associate's Degree and 7 years of relevant Database Administrator/Analyst experience; or a Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of Database Administrator/Analyst experience; or a Master's Degree and 3 years of Database Administrator/Analyst experience.
 * Your ability to Obtain and/or Transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government Secret clearance and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company
 * Current CompTIA Security Plus (or higher) certification.
 * Experience designing and maintaining complex relational databases.
 * Experience developing and scripting raw data using SQL or other query languages.
 * Experience generating visual reports in tools like Tableau or Power BI.
 * Experience with backups of large databases and transaction logs.
 * Experience with STIG and Gov database security controls.
 * Experience with Microsoft Office, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, and Excel.
 * Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
 * Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed., * Experience with remote cloud architecture.
 * Experience working in an Air Force flightline environment.
 * Experience working with Air Force flight communications systems.
 * Active SECRET or TOP SECRET clearance.
 * Active Specific Special Access Program access.

## Description

* Implements and maintain smooth operation and physical design of databases.
 * Conducts performance tuning of indexes and databases.
 * Reviews database design and integration of systems, provides backup recovery, transaction log recovery, and makes recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements.
 * Maintains security and integrity controls.
 * Formulates policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management, and monitors transaction activity and utilization. May develop stored procedures and/or triggers.
