## About the Role

We are seeking a Technology Systems Project Designer to join our team in Alexandria, VA. The ideal candidate will design telecommunications networks, structured cabling systems, audio/visual systems, and electronic security systems for a variety of vertical building projects. This role involves collaborating with senior Technology Systems staff and multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality designs while continuing to grow technical expertise. Strong time management, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to learning and problem solving are critical to success in this role., * Candidates must have 3-7 years of experience designing telecommunications networks, structured cabling systems, audio/visual systems, and electronic security systems for vertical building projects.

 * Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry is required.
 * An Associate's degree or higher in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience., * Must be proficient in Autodesk Revit, including model setup, linking, navigation, and producing Technology Systems designs from project initiation through completion.
 * Strong time management and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
 * Proficient with MS Office suite of products

 * Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a positive, proactive approach to problem solving and professional development.
 * Must work effectively with Technology Systems team members, other design disciplines, subconsultants, and clients.

Eligibility

 * Must be eligible to work in the United States.
 * Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance.

Desirable

 * Experience with federal government projects.
 * BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification or a desire to obtain the certification as part of professional development.
