Effectively leading in team settings. * Good written and verbal communication skills and is comfortable working in customer-facing situations, fluent in English. * Strong basic computer skills, including an understanding of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Project. * Ability to Travel approximately 10%, both Domestic and Internationally (OEM manufacturing sites, Mexico and Korea manufacturing/HQ sites) ## Description LG Electronics is looking to hire a sales engineer for the HVACR industry. This position will perform project management between LG and OEM manufacturers, managing communications between R&D teams. He or She needs to promote business growth through best technical support to customers and target to make long-term working relationships with them. He or She must function as the engineering expert of compressor design and application. This is NOT an application engineering position for sizing systems to conditioned spaces, this is NOT the requirement. What you will do * Always search for optimal component pairings for HVAC OEM customers. * Assist OEM customers in identifying and qualifying compressor opportunities. * Provide technical or process support to OEM customers during qualification and reliability activities for LG products. * Assist as needed in developing the customer business case for new concept solutions. * Manage project timelines and deliverables from the viewpoint of new compressor applications. * Utilize functional expertise as a sales engineer and individual project team leader.
