Desirable * Experience of working with specialist data or analytics suppliers. * Experience of delivering data science solutions in a complex organisation. ## Description As a Data Scientist at Heathrow, you'll develop analytical models and data science solutions that improve airport operations and inform business decisions. You'll apply statistical methods, machine learning and data analysis to varied business challenges. Your work will help teams across Customer, Operations, Corporate and Technology make effective use of data. You'll also help ensure solutions are secure, well governed and designed to deliver measurable value. Principal Accountabilities * Develop and maintain statistical, machine learning and predictive models that address business needs. * Turn complex data into clear insights and practical recommendations for airport operations. * Assess model performance, data quality and analytical bias, taking action where risks are identified. * Prepare evidence for data science investment proposals, including expected benefits and measures of success. * Work with internal teams and specialist suppliers to deliver effective solutions within agreed budgets and standards., Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow.
