This individual will serve as the bridge between engineering and security stakeholders, developing technical documentation, security artifacts, and certification packages for cryptographic and information assurance solutions. The ideal candidate has an Active DoD Secret Clearance and a background in cryptography, secure communications, cybersecurity, systems engineering, or electrical/computer engineering, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable documentation. In this role, you will collaborate with software, hardware, systems, and cybersecurity teams to document cryptographic architectures, security controls, system risks, and compliance activities supporting classified communications systems. Responsibilities include developing engineering and RMF artifacts, supporting NSA cryptographic certification efforts (IASRD/SERD), contributing to anti-tamper assessments, and preparing customer-facing technical deliverables. Candidates should be comfortable working in highly regulated environments and communicating technical concepts to both engineering teams and government stakeholders. Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Cryptography, Cybersecurity, or a related field with 9+ years of experience (or equivalent education/experience), along with an active DoD Secret Clearance. Experience with cryptographic technologies, COMSEC, secure communications systems, RMF, NIST standards, STIGs, eMASS/XACTA, NSA certification processes, and DoD or Intelligence Community programs is highly desired.
