## Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Administrator- Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) to support a mission-critical federal program. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, scripting, automation, and networking, and will play a key role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing Linux environments., * Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server environments (v8v9).

 * Develop and maintain advanced automation scripts using BASH, Perl, JavaScript, or Python.
 * Perform administration and O&M tasks from the command line.
 * Manage task automation using tools like Ansible and RHEL Satellite.
 * Handle package management across geographically dispersed environments.
 * Configure and manage NFTables, Firewalld, IPTables, ISC2 BIND DNS, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, Postfix/SMTP Relay.
 * Administer Linux Server Clustering, NFSv3/NFSv4, PXE boot, and SELinux.
 * Support Mirantis Container Runtime (formerly Docker), AWS, and GitLab.
 * Maintain detailed documentation for system designs, configurations, processes, and service records.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure projects.
 * Lead and mentor junior team members.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve LAN/WAN connectivity and performance issues.
 * Ensure compliance with security hardening standards (CIS, NIST SP 80053 Rev. 5, DISA STIGs).
