BETA Technologies participates in E-Verify. ## Description The Systems Integration Engineer will own aircraft interface definition and integration closure across the aircraft configuration, including focused responsibility for high-lift system integration. The role connects requirements, physical interfaces, operating logic, and verification across disciplines and partner boundaries. This position will be based onsite at our South Burlington, VT office location, our Raleigh, NC office. Remote candidates may be considered for a hybrid role, with monthly visits to South Burlington, VT for in person work. How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation: * Develop and maintain interface-control documents, interface requirements, ownership, assumptions, open items, and verification methods * ntegrate mechanical, electrical, software, controls, data, loads, thermal, environmental, and installation interfaces across aircraft systems * Coordinate high-lift interfaces among aerodynamics, mechanisms, actuation, structure, flight controls, indication, safety, and test * Manage partner-facing interface definition and technical closure with counterparts and other suppliers * Identify integration conflicts early through architecture reviews, packaging studies, operating-mode analysis, and interface working sessions * Support configuration trades, integration planning, verification planning, and technical risk closure * Document decisions and ensure interface changes propagate through requirements and product definition
