The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Java and SQL, with proven experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts through the use of practices such as BDD.**Key Responsibilities:*** Implement and work within a BDD (Behaviour-Driven Development) automation framework.* Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases, test estimation, regression testing, test automation development, and other project artifacts.* Acting as a quality gate and identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs before software products are delivered to our clients.* Implementation and execution of API based automation test for functional and non-functional testing using Citi approved tools.* Identifying and
highlighting ways to continuously optimize the way in which QA function operates to create an efficient, scalable team.* Work with the business and Production Support to investigate issues and prevent production defects.* Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.* Together with the team contribute to innovative & best-in-class solutions for our business.* Apply proven software testing concepts and methodologies to daily tasks.* Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve issues.* Adapt to changing business needs and effectively shift focus on priorities as required. **Recommended Qualifications:*** Proven industry experience in automation testing with strong hands-on experience in Java.* Solid experience with BDD automation frameworks (Cucumber).* Strong hands-on experience in API automation/testing.* Prior experience in the usage of SQL for database validation and testing.* Fair working knowledge of CI/CD process, Jenkins
