## Description

Als CIO geeft u leiding aan het directoraat Informatie Technologie & Digitale Innovatie (IT&DI) . IT&DI staat in het hart van de organisatie van het LUMC en is de link tussen de IT/IV en zorg, onderzoek, onderwijs en valorisatie. De adequate inzet van (medische) informatietechnologie is onontbeerlijk voor de realisatie van de waarde- en datagedreven zorgambities van het LUMC. Het LUMC investeert daartoe in de digitale infrastructuur en Cloud dienstverlening, het standaardiseren, vastleggen en ontsluiten van data en expertise op het gebied van data intelligence, Artificial Intelligence en Data Science. De totale IT&DI organisatie bestaat uit ongeveer 180 professionals, die werkzaam zijn binnen de afdelingen. De CIO is strategisch gesprekspartner van de RvB op vraagstukken rond digitalisering, digitale autonomie, informatievoorziening, innovatie en risicobeheersing. Daarbij werkt u intensief samen met de Chief Medical Information Officer, de Chief Nursing Information
Officer en de Chief Research Information Officer.
