## Description

Join a high-impact engineering team as a Software Development Engineer II supporting foundational Amazon Business services. This onsite, 8-month contract role in Irving, TX (Dallas area) offers the chance to design and build robust, scalable back-end systems used by business customers worldwide. You'll work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, leveraging AWS and C++ to solve complex technical challenges alongside engineers in the U.S. and Spain. We welcome relocation candidates and those with prior Amazon experience.

[Responsibilities]

 - Design, develop, and deliver scalable backend solutions for distributed systems
 - Build and optimize large-scale applications using AWS cloud technologies
 - Implement and maintain high-quality, production-ready code throughout the SDLC
 - Collaborate with global engineering teams to solve technical challenges involving large volumes of data
 - Take ownership of projects, ensuring timely completion and high standards of code quality
 - Work closely with hiring managers and software engineers to meet business objectives
 - Proactively learn new technologies and contribute to continuous improvement
