We're a fast-moving, international development team, and we're looking for a Software Engineer to take ownership of frontend work and help shape how we build our product. You'll be joining developers who've already been working on the project for several years. You'll get to take on real responsibility quickly, make meaningful technical decisions, and have a direct impact on what we build. Tasks * Own frontend features end to end, from the initial idea through to a shipped feature, with real autonomy over how you get there * Work primarily in our React/TypeScript frontend, and occasionally contribute to our Python/Django backend when it makes sense * Contribute to how our team uses AI-assisted development tools, including identifying where they help us move faster and where they don't * Work with mapping and geospatial data as part of our web-GIS platform * Care about code quality and architecture where it matters, while knowing when "good enough" is the right call * Take active ownership of the company's broader needs, whether that means mentoring teammates, championing security standards, or improving how we operate * Actively spot gaps in our team culture, security, or processes and take the initiative to fix them rather than waiting for a ticket * Collaborate closely with other developers and the wider team to build useful, reliable products for the energy transition
