Responsible for daily operations, maintenance, troubleshooting of the infrastructure supporting the RMS Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) Windchill application environments including LMI, external facing/remotely accessed. Ability to interface with end-users, system administrators and database administrators in order to resolve issues and implement solutions. Support engineering application upgrade projects, including planned upgrades to infrastructure, applications, and expansion and rearchitecture/reconfiguration projects. Apply knowledge of application operation and through various tools such as log file analyzers and working with performance engineering to identify and solve complex performance and operational problems. Responsible for managing various environments (Development, QA and Production environment). Plan and manage system updates (installations/upgrades/patches) to keep pace with latest software releases and patches. Must be cognizant and able to support assigned tasks from auxiliary projects of the RMS EPDM program/development team. Must be organized, disciplined, detail oriented, innovative, self-starter, results-oriented and willing to work with minimal supervision. Participate in as needed off-hours troubleshooting and scheduled activities, involving other specialists when required. Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains enterprise-wide solutions to total system or subsystems using internally created and/or off the shelf products. Analyzes and identifies all or part of a company's existing or new peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.
