## About the Role

* Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

 * Deep understanding of tactical radio communication protocols, digital signal processing (DSP), and waveform design.
 * Experience with Linux kernel modification, custom U-Boot configuration, and hardware debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
 * Familiarity with Android Open-Source Project (AOSP) customization or Android HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) development.
 * Strong background in automated test environments, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and DevOps workflows
 * Leadership: 2+ years of experience acting as technical lead.
 * Core Languages: Expert-level proficiency in C and modern C++ for real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded environments.
 * Operating Systems: Proven hands-on track record developing embedded software architectures utilizing Linux and Android distributions.
 * AI Tooling: Practical experience integrating generative AI or AI-assisted development tools within a professional software environment.
