Join a leading banking institution as a Network Security Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding complex enterprise networks. This is a remote, contract position with the potential for extension or conversion to full-time, offering exposure to high-impact security projects and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams., Design, plan, and implement robust enterprise network solutions, including hardware and software.

 - Assess and evaluate existing network technologies to identify performance and capacity gaps.
 - Establish, configure, and maintain security controls such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
 - Conduct firewall rule base reviews, recertifications, audits, and optimizations (Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Fortinet).
 - Drive remediation activities, including evidence collection, documentation, and issue resolution to support audit and compliance requirements.
 - Provide expert recommendations to enhance network infrastructure and security posture.
 - Program, test, and tune routers, switches, and network security devices.
 - Manage network services throughout the lifecycle, from planning to implementation.
