## Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Network Install Technician to build and maintain network infrastructure that powers our global cloud. In this role, you will install, label, and test fiber and copper cabling; rack and stack network gear; and turn up connectivity following detailed designs and runbooks. You'll troubleshoot layer 1/2 issues, validate link performance, and document work in ticketing systems. You will collaborate with data center, networking, and security teams in a fast-paced, customer-obsessed environment that values ownership, safety, and high operational standards., * Install, label, and test fiber and copper network cabling in AWS data centers

 * Rack, stack, and connect switches, routers, and related infrastructure hardware
 * Execute network turn-ups following engineering designs and implementation runbooks
 * Troubleshoot and resolve layer 1/2 connectivity and performance issues
 * Use test equipment to certify links and validate network health
 * Maintain accurate documentation, asset records, and change tickets
 * Collaborate with data center, networking, and security teams to support builds and upgrades
 * Follow AWS safety, security, and compliance standards while working on-site
 * Participate in on-call or shift work as needed to support 24/7 operations
 * Identify opportunities to improve installation quality, efficiency, and reliability
