## About the Role

The successful candidate will have an existing knowledge of Microsoft Products such as DNS and DHCP and this role will be an opportunity to develop this knowledge further.

This would be ideally suited to someone with a passion for technology and experience of call handling and IT and Infrastructure first line support in a fast-paced hospital IT environment., The post requires a highly developed customer focus and the ability to work on your own initiative.

## Description

The post-holder will be responsible for providing the first line support within the Digital Support Team.

This will include the provision of a call logging and remote fix function via telephone and drop-in. Other duties include some desk-side fixes, the processing of procurement of IT equipment to the Trust, user account creation and maintenance, asset recording, advice to users, and also providing general administration duties.

The post-holder will have opportunities to learn a vast amount of technical skills whilst working within the department.
