* Proven experience as a BI Developer, Business Intelligence Developer, or Analytics Developer

## Description

A leading insurance organisation is seeking an experienced BI Developer with strong Sigma Computing expertise to join their data and analytics function on an initial 6-month contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that has invested heavily in a modern cloud data platform, with Snowflake as the enterprise data warehouse and Sigma Computing as the strategic reporting and analytics tool.

We are looking for a highly skilled BI Developer who can leverage data within Snowflake and build intuitive, business-facing dashboards and reporting solutions through Sigma. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver meaningful insights that drive business decision-making.
What You'll Be Doing

 * Designing and developing dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics solutions in Sigma Computing
 * Building and maintaining Sigma Workbooks, Datasets, and visualisations
 * Working closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver analytical solutions
 * Creating KPI reporting and management dashboards across insurance functions
 * Writing complex SQL queries and working directly with data within Snowflake
 * Supporting the adoption of self-service BI capabilities across the business
 * Collaborating with Data Engineering teams to optimise reporting performance and data accessibility
 * Ensuring reporting solutions are scalable, accurate, and aligned with business requirements, * Specialty Insurance
