## About the Role

* HBO of WO achtergrond, bijvoorbeeld Informatica, Technische Informatica, ICT, Industrial Automation of Business IT & Management of vergelijkbaar;
 * Ervaring met deployment methodieken, infrastructuren en lifecycle management binnen industriële of technische omgevingen;
 * Aantoonbare kennis van OT componenten, industriële netwerken en machine /software integraties;
 * Sterk probleemoplossend vermogen, hands on mindset en scherp technisch inzicht;
 * Vermogen om te schakelen tussen Business, IT en Software Engineering en belangen te verbinden;
 * Communicatief vaardig in zowel Nederlands als Engels.

## Description

In deze rol zorg je voor een toekomstbestendige IT/OT-architectuur voor onze machines wereldwijd. Jij houdt overzicht over de hardware en software die in het veld staat, beoordeelt welke systemen lifecycle-technisch aan vervanging toe zijn en adviseert over upgrades of nieuwe oplossingen. Je werkt intensief samen met Customer Service, IT, Software Engineering, Platform en onze CISO-collega, niet om cybersecurity zelf te beheren, maar wel om de praktische uitvoering te realiseren, zoals juiste segmentatie, juiste hardware, juiste netwerkcomponenten.

Daarnaast ben je een belangrijke brug tussen Business, IT en Software Engineering: je begrijpt de technische inhoud, maar kunt ook schakelen met niet-technische collega's en hen meenemen in keuzes, risico's en impact.

* Adviseren over operating systems, servicetermijnen en lifecycle-upgrades, inclusief beoordelen wat in het veld staat en wat verouderd raakt;
 * Inrichten van IT/OT-connectiviteit voor zowel cloud als on-premise omgevingen, passend bij onze machine-architectuur;
 * Verlenen van 2e-lijns support op IPC's en bijbehorende industriële software bij complexere storingen;
 * Opzetten en optimaliseren van integraties (o.a. API's/middleware) zodat machine-data beschikbaar is voor interne teams, zoals customer service;
 * Adviseren richting teams over hardware- en netwerkkeuzes, bijv. IPC's, routers, industriële componenten;
 * Training en kennisoverdracht aan de Service-organisatie over IT/OT-componenten, standaarden en best practices.
