This role is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, optimization, and support of enterprise Linux environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Linux operating systems, automation, infrastructure management, security, performance tuning, and troubleshooting within complex production environments., * Design, implement, and maintain enterprise Linux server infrastructure. * Administer and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, or similar distributions. * Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal operation. * Automate system administration tasks using Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools. * Manage server patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation. * Troubleshoot complex operating system, application, networking, and infrastructure issues. * Support virtualization platforms such as VMware and cloud environments including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. * Implement and maintain security controls, hardening standards, and compliance requirements. * Manage storage solutions, file systems, backups, and disaster recovery processes. * Collaborate with application, database, security, and network teams to support business-critical systems. * Participate in on-call support and incident response activities. * Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operating procedures.
