## About the Role

* Min 5+ years of systems engineering experience on complex systems, with 3 years' experience using modern digital engineering tools and processes to perform system engineering tasks.
 * In-depth knowledge of system of systems and system design principles, technologies, and architectures.
 * Proficient understanding of system engineering principles and processes.
 * Proficiency in digital engineering software/tools (e.g., MATLAB, Atlassian, ANSYS, CAMEO, Team Work Cloud, CAD software, AFSIM, etc.)
 * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information effectively.
 * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 * Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
 * Strong attention to detail.
 * Knowledge of relevant military standards and specifications.

Education:

 * Bachelor's degree in a Specific Engineering Discipline, e.g., Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, etc.

## Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our complex and critical systems infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, security, and optimal performance of our systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of systems engineering principles, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.

 * Duties to be independently executed include but are not limited to:
 * Serve as the technical expert for systems engineering methodologies, tools and processes related to pre-program of record technical development.
 * Lead and/or participate in the design, development, and integration of systems, subsystems, and components, from concept through production and sustainment.
 * Conduct detailed analysis and modeling of systems, including performance, effectiveness, and vulnerability assessments.
 * Develop and maintain system specifications, technical documentation, and engineering drawings.
 * Develop and execute test plans and procedures to verify system performance and compliance with requirements.
 * Analyze test data, identify performance issues, and recommend corrective actions.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems related to systems.
 * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers and team members.
 * Stay abreast of advancements in technologies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
 * Prepare and present technical reports, presentations, and briefings to internal and external stakeholders.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including program management, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure successful project execution.
