## About the Role

We are currently looking for a System Design Engineer to join our Controls team located in Charlotte, NC. Our ideal candidate for a System Design Engineer is someone who has 3 years of experience and has a focus on continuous learning and development., * At least three years of hands-on experience in installing and/or commissioning automation systems.

 * Proficiency in building automation system configuration software.
\n

 * Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
\n

 * Proven technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
\n

 * Advanced computer skills, including expertise in computer-aided drafting tools.

## Description

* Designing and configuring automation systems by selecting hardware, developing software, and creating necessary drawings and documentation.
\n

 * Managing material procurement, tracking, and factory-mounting processes to align with project schedules.
\n

 * Loading, commissioning, and validating system functionality while troubleshooting issues with subcontractors and other trades.
\n

 * Documenting field changes, updating as-built drawings and software, and prepare system operation manuals.
\n

 * Providing project updates to management and customers while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

 * Conducting site-specific training for owners/operators and complete required administrative paperwork.
