## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience OR Master's degree in a related field.

## Description

Conducts AI and data science research for medical imaging, surgical navigation, robotics, and image-guided procedures. Develops algorithms, proof-of-concept solutions, statistical and machine learning models, data-processing tools, and evaluation methodologies. Applies deep learning, computer vision, and generative AI techniques while collaborating with research, engineering, and clinical stakeholders. Documents experiments, results, and technical recommendations., * Conduct research to identify, evaluate, and validate artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI approaches.

 * Develop algorithms and proof-of-concept solutions to assess technical feasibility and future application opportunities.
 * Analyze structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data using statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
 * Design experiments, establish evaluation criteria, and benchmark algorithm performance.
 * Develop software and analytical tools that support data processing, model development, and technical investigations.
 * Apply AI and computer vision methods to imaging, navigation, robotics, and image-guided procedure applications.
 * Collaborate with research, engineering, and clinical stakeholders to define technical problems and communicate findings.
 * Document research activities, experimental results, and technical recommendations.
