## About the Role

Zillow Group is seeking a Principal Data Scientist to serve as the data science lead for the Rentals Shopping pillar, which focuses on improving how renters discover and secure their next home through Zillow's marketplace. This role sits at the center of the rental consumer journey, using rigorous analysis, experimentation, modeling, and proactive discovery to improve product and consumer experiences across the rental shopping funnel, from search through contact and conversion.

As the primary data science partner for product leadership, you will drive data strategy, identify large-scale opportunities, influence the product roadmap, and help shape how renters search, evaluate, and connect with rental homes. You will combine deep technical expertise with product intuition and cross-functional leadership in a fast-changing marketplace environment.

## Key Responsibilities
