## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
 * 7+ years of experience in cloud networking, with at least 5 years focused on AWS and Azure
 * Deep understanding of cloud networking concepts, including VPC, subnets, route tables, security groups, and network ACLs
 * Experience with implementing and managing network security controls such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and DDoS protection
 * Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and DNS
 * Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and tool development
 * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues
 * Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
 * Security clearance may be required for certain projects

Preferred Qualifications:

 * Certifications such as AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Azure Certified Advanced Networking, or CCNP
 * Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
 * Knowledge of SD-WAN and other emerging networking technologies
 * Experience working in a DevOps environment

## Description

* Architect and implement secure, scalable cloud and hybrid network solutions across AWS and Azure environments
 * Design and deploy advanced networking features such as VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, and network ACLs
 * Implement and manage network security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and DDoS protection
 * Optimize network performance and troubleshoot complex network issues
 * Collaborate with cloud architects, security teams, and application developers to ensure seamless integration and compliance
 * Develop and maintain network automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment and management processes
 * Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for cloud security and network architecture
 * Mentor and guide junior engineers on cloud networking best practices and technologies
