## About the Role

* 8-10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Data Platform roles.
 * 4-5+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience in architecture and administration.
 * Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
 * Experience designing scalable Snowflake architectures for data warehouse, data lake, and data sharing use cases.
 * Strong experience with dimensional modeling and analytical data models.
 * Experience designing and operating batch and near real-time ETL/ELT pipelines.
 * Strong knowledge of Snowflake Data Sharing and data integration.
 * Experience with Bronze/Silver/Gold data layers, semantic views, and analytics-ready datasets.
 * Knowledge of advanced Snowflake capabilities including Cortex AI and Data Agents.
 * Experience with Snowflake security and governance features including RBAC, masking policies, row access policies, encryption, and Snowflake Horizon.
 * Hands-on Snowflake platform administration across Development, Test, and Production environments.
 * Experience managing warehouses, databases, schemas, users, roles, and resource monitors.
 * Strong experience monitoring and optimizing Snowflake performance, availability, and cost.
 * Experience with data sharing, replication, disaster recovery/failover, and backup strategies.
 * Advanced SQL skills; Python experience preferred.
 * Scripting and automation experience using Bash, Terraform, or similar tools.
 * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub.
 * Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.
 * Strong troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
 * Experience providing technical guidance to distributed/offshore Snowflake administration teams.
 * Experience with predictive modeling and anomaly detection using Snowflake Cortex AI is preferred.
 * Snowflake SnowPro Core certification preferred.
