This is a hands-on, client-facing role focused on the design, development, integration, deployment and support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Power Platform and Copilot solutions. The successful candidate will combine strong engineering capability with consulting skills and disciplined software delivery. They will work alongside functional consultants, architects, project managers and client teams to build scalable solutions and establish robust tooling, Application Lifecycle Management and release practices., The Senior Technical Consultant will translate functional designs and business requirements into secure, maintainable technical solutions. The role covers the full delivery lifecycle, from discovery and technical design through development, testing, deployment, transition and production support. The consultant will provide technical leadership within project teams, mentor colleagues, contribute to client workshops and presales, and help evolve BearingPoint's reusable methods, accelerators and engineering standards., Dynamics 365 CRM Engineering * Design, configure and extend Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions across Sales, Customer Service and Customer Insights Journeys. * Develop plugins, custom workflow activities, custom APIs, JavaScript or TypeScript extensions, business rules and process automation. * Configure Dataverse tables, relationships, security roles, teams, business units and field-level security. * Apply supported extension patterns and minimise unnecessary customisation. * Review existing estates, including managed and unmanaged layers, custom components, integrations and technical debt. ALM & Release Management * Define and operate ALM processes across development, test, UAT, pre-production and production environments. * Build and maintain Azure DevOps or Power Platform deployment pipelines for solutions and configuration. * Manage solution packaging, dependencies, environment variables, connection references and managed solution promotion. * Plan releases, coordinate deployment windows, manage approvals and communicate release scope, risks and readiness. * Maintain versioning, release notes, deployment records, rollback and recovery procedures. * Support release rehearsals, production cutover, hypercare and post-implementation review. * Troubleshoot failed deployments, layer conflicts, missing dependencies and configuration drift.
