## About the Role

You'll ideally have strong commercial experience with:

 * Node.js / TypeScript
 * REST API development
 * AWS, particularly Lambda, API Gateway, S3 and DynamoDB
 * Serverless architecture
 * NoSQL and data modelling
 * CI/CD
 * Automated testing
 * Cloud security and OWASP principles
 * Git
 * Agile / Scrum

We're looking for someone who understands how to build secure, scalable and maintainable cloud applications, rather than simply having experience with individual AWS services.

You should be comfortable taking ownership of technical problems, working collaboratively with other developers and contributing to architectural decisions.
Salary & Working

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 depending on experience

Hybrid working, with 1-2 days per week in London and flexibility for UK-based candidates.

## Description

You'll focus on back-end development and cloud infrastructure, working closely with front-end developers and wider technology teams to design and deliver robust services and APIs.
The Role

You'll be responsible for:

 * Designing and developing scalable back-end services and APIs
 * Building and maintaining REST APIs using Node.js and TypeScript
 * Developing serverless applications using AWS
 * Working with services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3 and DynamoDB
 * Designing and implementing effective NoSQL data models
 * Contributing to cloud architecture and technical design
 * Developing secure, reliable and high-performing applications
 * Supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
 * Monitoring, troubleshooting and improving production services
 * Applying cloud security best practices throughout the development lifecycle
 * Working closely with front-end developers to deliver integrated solutions
 * Contributing to Agile development practices and technical decision-making
