## About the Role

Essential:

 * 10+ years in large enterprise or service provider network environments.
 * Expert knowledge of Cisco IOS-XR architecture and troubleshooting.
 * Strong grounding in MPLS, Segment Routing, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, and EVPN.
 * Hands-on experience with Cisco 8000, ASR 9000, or NCS 5500/5700.
 * Strong Cisco NSO experience, including YANG, Python, and NETCONF/REST.
 * Experience with DWDM and optical transport networking.
 * Strong stakeholder management and vendor engagement skills.

Desirable:

 * CCNP or CCIE (Enterprise or Service Provider).
 * Experience with Cisco Crosswork, Terraform, or Ansible.
 * Financial services or investment banking experience.
 * Cloud networking exposure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
 * SD-WAN or Arista CloudVision experience.

## Description

* Develop and maintain Cisco NSO automation, service models, and workflows.
 * Lead migration and transformation across Cisco 8000, ASR 9000, and NCS platforms.
 * Design and support large-scale WAN, MAN, and Optical Transport networks.
 * Troubleshoot routing and control-plane issues in production IOS-XR environments.
 * Build low-level designs, runbooks, and rollback plans for migrations.
 * Drive infrastructure-as-code and model-driven automation initiatives.
 * Support change management, CAB reviews, and root cause analysis.
 * Maintain engineering standards and technical documentation.
