## About the Role

You'll have:

 * Experience delivering IT Audit, SOX or IT General Controls (ITGC) testing.
 * Strong understanding of SOX 404 compliance and IT control frameworks.
 * Experience testing automated controls, key reports and application controls.
 * The ability to understand technical logic, system configurations or code that underpins automated controls.
 * A hands-on, analytical approach with the confidence to investigate issues and work through testing independently.
 * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
 * Previous consulting or professional services experience is desirable.

Desirable Experience

 * Experience supporting US-listed organisations or SOX programmes.
 * Exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle or Workday.
 * Experience working alongside developers, application support or engineering teams.
 * Knowledge of IT Application Controls (ITACs) and automated control environments.

## Description

* Deliver IT General Controls (ITGC) testing in support of SOX 404 compliance.
 * Perform testing of key reports and automated controls used in financial reporting.
 * Review application logic, system configurations and technical implementations to validate the effectiveness of automated controls.
 * Identify issues within automated processes and work with technical teams to understand and assess control deficiencies.
 * Gather, review and document audit evidence in line with SOX methodology.
 * Produce high-quality workpapers and communicate findings clearly to client stakeholders.
 * Work collaboratively with IT, application and business teams throughout the audit lifecycle.
