## About the Role

* Strong programming skills in C#/.NET, Java or Python.
 * Experience developing production web applications.
 * SQL databases, web frameworks and RESTful APIs.
 * Front-end development using React and TypeScript.
 * Cloud experience with Azure and/or AWS.
 * Strong software engineering fundamentals and development best practices.
 * First-class or 2:1 degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related discipline from a Russell Group university.

Desirable Experience

 * WebSockets, SignalR or similar real-time technologies.
 * AI-assisted software development tools.
 * Defence or National Security experience.

Essential Requirements

 * UK national and eligible to obtain UK SC-level Security Clearance.
 * Visa sponsorship is not available.

Willingness to travel to Defence customer sites across the UK when required, including 2-3 days per week or shorter periods of full-time travel.
