## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
 * 7+ years of professional software development experience in enterprise web application development.
 * Strong full-stack Java development expertise with demonstrated experience mentoring junior developers.
 * 4+ years of experience building and supporting REST services in high-volume, highly available environments.
 * 4+ years of experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including: SQL, Oracle, MongoDB
 * 2+ years of experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) or equivalent cloud platforms.
 * Strong proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful services using Spring Boot.
 * Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts, unit testing principles, API test automation, and automated deployment pipelines.
 * Strong knowledge of software design patterns and SOLID principles.
 * Experience with the Atlassian tool suite is strongly preferred, including: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo
 * Ability to support all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including: Requirements review and analysis, Application and solution design,
 * Development and implementation, Unit testing, Functional testing, Integration testing, End-to-end testing
 * Experience ensuring application quality, reliability, maintainability, and performance throughout the development lifecycle.
 * Demonstrated ability to quickly understand complex concepts and independently learn new technologies.
 * Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic, geographically dispersed environment.
 * Ability to work independently while serving in a technical leadership capacity within a development team.
 * Experience mentoring and supporting junior developers.
 * Hands-on experience using AI-assisted software development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, to: Improve coding productivity, Accelerate software delivery,
 * Enhance code quality, Support development and debugging activities
 * Actively leverage AI-assisted development tools as part of their standard engineering practice from day one.
 * Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
 * Lead Automation Transformation & Provide Visibility to Business Segment & Leadership.
