## About the Role

This role supports server based applications and infrastructure used in Process Control Network (PCN) and Operational Technology (OT) environments. The selected candidate will deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and support applications across on-premises and Microsoft Azure environments.

Responsibilities include Microsoft Windows Server support, application deployments and upgrades, operating system and software patch management, cybersecurity compliance, asset inventory, monitoring, and software license management.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting Windows servers and production applications, resolving technical issues, and participating in application deployment or lifecycle projects. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills are required.

This role is well suited for an application support engineer, systems engineer, or infrastructure professional with experience supporting industrial applications in energy, refining, petrochemical, manufacturing, or another operational environment., * Experience supporting and troubleshooting server-based on-premises and Azure applications in OT and business network environments.

 * Experience deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting Microsoft Windows servers.
 * Experience providing design, testing, and implementation support for application platform deployments, lifecycle projects, or customer-facing technical projects.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify, communicate, and resolve technical issues.
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills.
 * Ability to document systems infrastructure and communicate technical information clearly.
 * Ability to learn new technologies and platforms.
 * Ability to work on-site in Pasadena, TX.
 * A valid TWIC card will be required to enter the facility.

Preferred experience:

 * Experience supporting industrial applications in refining, petrochemical, energy, manufacturing, or similar environments.
 * Understanding of OT security concepts, including the Purdue model, air-gapped networks, and Zero Trust.
 * Experience with Microsoft Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).
 * Experience developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts for system maintenance, monitoring, and automation.
 * Experience supporting VMware ESXi and vCenter environments. VxRail experience is a plus.
 * Experience deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting Linux servers, including RHEL, CentOS, or similar distributions.
 * Experience with infrastructure security, vulnerability management, and compliance tools such as Tenable Nessus, Tanium, or equivalent platforms.
 * Knowledge of Baytek cBLISS laboratory information management software.
 * Understanding of Agile methodologies, the SAFe framework, and Microsoft Azure DevOps.
 * Associate's degree or higher in technology or a related business discipline.

 * Diagnose application, server, and infrastructure issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams and stakeholders.
 * Perform operating system and application patch management in accordance with site procedures and cybersecurity requirements.
 * Maintain application and infrastructure asset inventories, monitoring, and software license records.
 * Support cybersecurity standards adherence, information management, and risk compliance.
 * Maintain accurate systems infrastructure documentation and support procedures.
 * Learn new technologies and application platforms to meet project and operational needs.
