## About the Role

* Associate's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field-or equivalent practical experience.
\n

 * At least 3 years of professional software development experience (5+ preferred), with solid delivery of business or line-of-business applications.
\n

 * Strong day-to-day proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio and C# / .NET (Framework and/or .NET Core / .NET 6+).
\n

 * Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server: relational design, queries, stored procedures, and performance basics.
\n

 * Comfort building or maintaining ASP.NET applications (Web Forms, MVC, and/or ASP.NET Core) and related web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
\n

 * Experience with REST APIs / web services and structured data formats (JSON, XML).
\n

 * Familiarity with Windows development and administration basics; PowerShell is a plus.
\n

 * Clear written and verbal communication with technical teammates and non-technical stakeholders.

## Description

* Legacy modernization (AS/400 / IBM i, RPG, or similar) and data migration into modern SQL-backed systems.
\n

 * DevOps / CI-CD exposure (Azure DevOps, Git, build/release pipelines).
\n

 * Experience with Crystal Reports, SSRS, or similar reporting tools.
\n

 * Familiarity with Microsoft 365 / Azure services used alongside on-prem line-of-business apps.
\n

 * Effective use of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, or similar, while maintaining human oversight, code review, testing, and accountability for production code.
