## About the Role

* Minimum 5+ years of hands-on CICS experience
 * Strong expertise in CICS, REXX, and Assembler
 * Experience leading or supporting CICS upgrade projects (current initiative includes upgrading from CICS 5.6 to 6.3)
 * Ability to serve as a technical lead and provide senior-level support and guidance
 * Proven troubleshooting and production support experience in large-scale mainframe environments
 * Hands-on experience with z/OS, CICS (strong preference for CICS Plex), VSAM, and SMP/E
 * Strong analytical skills
 * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, * Bachelor's degree - any major; OR
 * 4 years of job-related work experience; OR
 * 2 years of job-related experience plus an Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree

## Description

* Coordinate a team of technical specialists through all assigned work requests
 * Review and distribute all approved work requests based on staff availability and skill, ensuring all needed resources are obtained
 * Monitor progress and performance and troubleshoot any problems that may arise
 * Participate in a 24×7 on-call rotation
