## About the Role

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:

 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field
 * 5 Years of experience on AI/ML or Data Science or highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities., * Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
 * 5 years of experience with Python or R programming languages for AI/ML development
 * 5 years of experience with Cloud computing services from major providers, including experience with cloud-based AI/ML development and deployment
 * 5 years of experience with AI/ML model development and deployment, including model tuning, experimentation, validation, and benchmarking

Desired Qualifications:

 * Experience with AI/ML model explainability and interpretability techniques
 * Familiarity with Sponsor's enterprise services, security controls, and data management practices
 * Experience with front-end web development frameworks, such as Flask
 * Experience with Tableau to produce visualizations and dashboards
 * Experience with verification and validation test benches
 * Deep learning frameworks, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras
 * Version control systems, such as GitHub

## Description

* Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and ensembles to address complex challenges in domains such as generative AI, classification, prediction, computer vision, NLP, and reinforcement learning.
 * Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and performance evaluation of AI/ML models, ensuring robustness, scalability, and ethical considerations in line with best practices.
 * Develop and implement pipelines for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training using structured and unstructured datasets.
 * Leverage cloud computing platforms and frameworks for scalable AI/ML model development, deployment, and monitoring.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders, to align AI/ML solutions with organizational objectives and mission requirements.
 * Stay current with advancements in AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and tools, incorporating emerging trends into research and development efforts.
 * Document research protocols, methodologies, and findings in formats such as technical reports, GitHub repositories, and analytic publications.
 * Provide technical guidance and AI/ML engineering expertise to support the transition of prototypes into production environments.
