This role requires an experienced engineer who can build environments from the ground up and manage them through their full lifecycle, including virtualization, security, automation, monitoring, authentication services, and application support., * Design, implement, and maintain secure Linux infrastructure * Administer, patch, harden, and troubleshoot Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems * Manage VMware ESXi, vCenter, vSphere, and KVM virtualization environments * Provision and support physical and virtual servers, integrating networking, storage, DNS, monitoring, backup, and security services * Maintain LDAP, LDAPS, and Active Directory integrations * Manage the full SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle, including installation, renewals, and troubleshooting * Administer Nessus vulnerability scanning and support remediation efforts * Support monitoring and logging tools such as Zabbix and Elastic Stack * Troubleshoot network connectivity, firewalls, routing, DNS, and application communications * Develop automation using Ansible, Bash, and Python * Manage infrastructure code and deployment workflows using Git and GitLab CI/CD * Support application integrations, REST APIs, and Linux-hosted services * Create technical documentation, build guides, recovery procedures, and operational runbooks * Participate in upgrades, incident response, capacity planning, and lifecycle management * Occasional travel (5-20%) for customer meetings and hardware support
