## About the Role

As Senior Java Developer you excel in teamwork, take initiative, and proactively seek solutions to technical challenges. You have a strong drive to learn and grow, always looking for ways to improve. Your customer-focused mindset helps you translate needs into effective technical solutions. You also need:

 * Completed higher education (HBO/WO) in Computer Science, ICT, Software Engineering, or a similar field
 * 7+ years of Java development experience (Java 11 or 17 preferred); OCP certification is a plus
 * Experience with NodeJS/TypeScript
 * Familiar with Agile/Scrum, Design Patterns, and enterprise Java frameworks, such as Spring Boot or Jakarta EE
 * Knowledge of SOA and service integration (message brokers, REST APIs)
 * Familiar with DevOps tools (Docker/Kubernetes) and experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
 * WFT Consumer Credit certification or willingness to obtain it

Looking for a new challenge in lease and financing solutions? As a Senior Java Developer, you will be working on automating our platform that connects car dealers and customers. Then come work at Hiltermann Lease Group in Hoofddorp!, As our Senior Java Developer you are responsible for maintaining, managing and developing our fintech platform. Your main focus will be the backend system, which is a cloud-based (AWS) application running on Java. This will include:

 * Working on automating the loan assessment process, assuring that customers are able to have a complete digital experience and fast feedback
 * Integrating third party services for assessment checks
 * Implementing logic to approve/deny applications based on our credit policy
 * Work in compliance with the Autoriteit Financiële Markten (AFM) , De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) and European privacy regulation (GPDR)
