## About the Role

Based in Watford. Hybrid working is available following induction, with a minimum of three days per week in the office. The induction period requires full-time office attendance for the first three months., Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

 - A few years post-graduate experience in design engineering.

 - Experience producing design calculations, design checks, and risk assessments.

 - Strong communication and client-facing skills.

 - Ability to commute to Watford.

Nice-to-have Skills

 - Experience with temporary works design.

 - Use of AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Tedds, STAAD, or similar software.

 - Working towards chartership (CEng/IEng).

Responsibilities

 - Produce design calculations, reports, and technical drawings for temporary and permanent works.

 - Undertake design checks and contribute to risk assessments.

 - Liaise with clients, project managers, and construction teams to ensure efficient design delivery.

 - Work with senior engineers to develop safe and innovative engineering solutions.

 - Support coordination of multiple workstreams and ensure quality control across projects.

 - Review designs in practice and resolve engineering queries.

 - Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and documentation.
