## About the Role

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

 * Strong commercial experience with Power BI development, including both front-end visualisation and back-end modelling
 * Excellent SQL skills for querying, transforming, and structuring data
 * Strong understanding of data modelling principles, including concepts such as star schema, Kimball methodology, and semantic modelling
 * Experience developing and maintaining DAX measures and calculations
 * Confidence engaging with stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical solutions
 * Experience working within agile environments and managing prioritised workloads
 * Strong communication and documentation skills
 * Any experience with CI/CD is desirable

## Description

The BI Lead will:

 * Develop, optimise, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
 * Enhance existing reporting solutions and self-service analytics capabilities
 * Work with semantic layers and data models to ensure reporting accuracy and performance
 * Write and maintain SQL and DAX to support reporting requirements
 * Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions
 * Support dashboard governance, documentation, and reporting best practices
 * Work closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Business stakeholders on key reporting initiatives
 * Contribute to agile delivery processes, sprint planning, and continuous improvement
 * Explore opportunities to leverage AI-enabled analytics tools within reporting workflows
