If you are motivated, detail-oriented and passionate about improving patient care, this role offers both challenge and fulfilment Candidates will only be considered if they hold a full, valid UK driving license., * Experience working in an administrative or healthcare environment with exposure to medicines management * Strong understanding of medicines commonly prescribed in primary care and relevant prescribing practices * Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in patient record management * Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage sensitively with patients and colleagues * Good IT skills, including use of systems such as Word, Excel and electronic patient record systems * Ability to organise workload, prioritise tasks and work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, * SVQ2 Pharmacy Services (or working towards); experience working in a pharmacy environment * Experience acting as a mentor/trainer to newer, less experienced team members * Basic knowledge of the role of pharmacy services in primary care * Awareness of law and good practice relating to prescribing, storage, and handling of medicines. ## Description As a Senior Pharmacy Support Worker (Primary Care) within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, you will play a vital role in supporting safe and effective use of medicines across our communities. Working as part of a collaborative Primary Care Pharmacy Team, you will contribute to improving patient outcomes and promoting independence through high-quality pharmacotherapy services. This is a rewarding opportunity to be at the heart of patient care, working closely with GP practices, community pharmacies and multidisciplinary teams.
