## About the Role

* You will bring strong commercial experience in:
 * Power BI development across both front-end reporting and back-end modelling
 * Data modelling and semantic layer design
 * SQL for data querying and transformation
 * DAX development and performance optimisation
 * Stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering
 * Communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
 * Designing scalable reporting solutions using best-practice methodologies such as Kimball, Star Schema, or Medallion Architecture
 * Azure DevOps or CI/CD processes
 * Azure Databricks
 * Databricks Genie or AI-assisted analytics tools
 * Microsoft Fabric
 * Agile delivery environments and sprint-based working

## Description

As BI Lead, you will take ownership of the organisation's business intelligence and reporting capability during a key period of change. The role is heavily focused on Power BI, data modelling, stakeholder engagement, and the optimisation of existing reporting solutions., * Enhancing and maintaining existing Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions

 * Developing and supporting semantic models and data layers that underpin reporting
 * Translating business requirements into scalable reporting and data models
 * Working closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and drive continuous improvement
 * Writing and optimising DAX and SQL to support reporting and analytics
 * Ensuring reporting outputs are accurate, reliable, and aligned with data governance standards
 * Supporting external-facing reporting products and self-service analytics capability
 * Contributing to Agile delivery processes, sprint planning, and roadmap activities
 * Maintaining documentation and promoting reporting best practice across the business
 * You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects involving data products, AI-assisted analytics, and modern cloud data platforms.
