We're looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist to help transform the way policyholder data is used to support actuarial modelling and business decision making. You'll design and build scalable data solutions, develop robust data pipelines, and apply machine learning and advanced analytics to solve complex challenges. Working within a highly regulated financial services environment, you'll play a key role in ensuring data is trusted, accessible, governed, and ready for insight generation. Purpose of the role: * Design, build and optimise data pipelines using Azure Databricks. * Transform and integrate complex data sources into trusted datasets for actuarial modelling. * Apply machine learning and advanced analytics to deliver measurable business value. * Improve data quality, governance, controls and audit readiness. * Optimise data platforms and processes for performance, scalability and reliability. * Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver effective solutions. * Set development standards, review code and support the growth of junior team members. * Drive continuous improvement and innovation across data processes and tooling.
